In January of 1922, the Aggie Spirit changed forever when a student athlete named E. King Gill '24 demonstrated his willingness to suit up in a football game that had brought the Aggie team numerous injuries and inched them closer to defeat. Gill was "selflessly ready" and his example has inspired hundreds of thousands of Aggies for nearly a century. In this fine art image by award-winning visual storyteller Paul Ernest, you see the story of E. King Gill come to life. You will be inspired anew to be selflessly ready in the challenges you face.

"Selflessly Ready" is available as a print (framed or unframed) and as an artist-embellished framed canvas.

Paul’s work parallels the styles of the great painters — it makes you feel like you’re witness to something personal;
something greater than yourself.
